Established in 2000, the mudac (Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts) organises five to eight thematic exhibitions a year, alongside its permanent collections. The museum is internationally recognised for pushing boundaries and fostering dialogue and exchange in the worlds of design, applied arts and contemporary art. It places a special focus on young creators, collaborating with numerous art and design schools to provide a platform for rising talents. The museum also opens its doors to the performing arts: dancers, film directors, performers or musicians. Its bold approach is recognised internationally, with exhibitions staged globally from Paris to Seoul.
